And now to our GD - This time from  USA:

Pat Jaynes

First I want to say how thrilled and honored I was to learn that I had been chosen to be your guest designer for this challenge.   I was so excited, I immediately called friends to let them know.  :-)

My name is Pat Jaynes and I live in South Carolina (USA) and am married to the love of my life, Mike, and we will soon celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary.  We have two "feathered" babies.  Jabber, our African Grey parrot and PJ our Cockatiel parrot.  They are great travelers which is good as we love traveling in our RV.

I started stamping a little over thirty years ago and have been addicted since day one.  I have seen a lot of changes in stamping techniques during this time.  When I first started, everything was very simple and plain, certainly not like today's cards.  I was told yesterday  "those aren't cards, they are a work of art".  :-)  I mainly use Tim Holtz Distressed Ink markers on my images because I love the soft watercolor look.  However I do still use my Copics, Pencils and other markers. 

Here is my GD card:

I saw Sherri Baldy's My Besties digi images over a year ago and fell in love with them.  The image I used for this card is IMG049 and she is colored with Distressed Ink Markers.  I love emblishments as you can tell. 

It was such a pleasure to create this card as Guest Designer.  I hope you all like it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
